First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Infinidat.
Software Engineer
The first technical interview was a video call with two interviewers. They briefly asked about my academic history, which was the main thing on my resume since it was an entry-level position, and then we moved on to some standard algorithm problems. The interviewers seemed a bit new to interviewing, almost like they were reading from a script. It was an okay experience overall.
- Can you expand on your academic background?
Customer Support Specialist
First, there was a brief phone chat with someone from the company. After that, I spoke with the team leader, who told me about the job, asked me to talk about myself and my goals, and then gave me a home test. While doing the test, the system had an error message. I emailed them about it, and they said they'd look into it but never got back to me. Later, I got an email saying I didn't pass.
- Could you explain your reasons for leaving your last position and what you are seeking in your next role?
Junior Java Developer
The process starts with a quick intro phone call. Then, there's a one-hour phone call where you'll talk about yourself and answer some knowledge-based questions. After that, you'll spend an hour and a half writing code with two team members watching. Next up is a two-hour chat with the team leader. Finally, there's a meeting with HR.
- Can you explain the difference between heap and stack memory?
- What is the difference between a thread and a process?
- How does garbage collection work in Java?
Marketing Communications Manager
Had 4 interviews with different team members and a 25 minute presentation. Got to the final stage, they said they'd get back to me in 2 weeks. No call or email, had to follow up myself to find out I didn't get the job. Super unimpressed also that they used my presentation ideas on social media weeks later.
- Can you present fresh approaches for Infinidat, including key social media themes for LinkedIn relevant to Infinidat and how to roll them out?
- Can you provide 2 innovative copywriting messages for email campaigns to showcase Infinidat's strengths?
