Retention Marketing Specialist
First round HR interview, HR wasn't professional. Asked me only a couple questions. It wasn't easy to get the interview scheduled. I didn't get a solid answer when I asked them what's the pro of working there
- What's the reason for leaving your previous job?
Marketing Manager
It was a pretty straightforward interview process, ending with a pretty extensive case study. After that, I was ghosted and heard nothing back after reaching out to HR. I get not getting picked in this market, but not hearing back after what seemed like a final round was a bummer.
- How would you approach identifying the root causes when performance is lacking?
Customer Experience Manager
The interview process was pretty easy and didn't take too long. There were three main parts to it, and I got to check out the Show Rooms and the main office too. First, I met with the director. Then, there was a meeting with the director and HR. The last part was a meeting with the VP. It felt like they really cared about finding someone who was a good personality and culture fit, but my background and what I've done were still important.
- Can you describe your customer experience background?
- How would you manage a challenging customer interaction?
- Give an example of when you enhanced a customer's experience.
Financial Analyst
It was a terrible interview and they turned me away. The interviewer was the senior FPA manager and she kept stressing how this won't be a relaxed job, that I shouldn't come to her for questions, and that I'm expected to know everything from the start. She focused too much on my Excel knowledge and barely asked anything else about me, making no effort to get to know me. Turnover is extremely high on their finance team and she couldn't explain why, but it was obvious to me after the interview. There was an Excel test that wasn't too hard, but it seemed like the only thing that mattered. What a bad experience overall and it suggests a bad company culture.
- Can you tell me why you applied for this specific role and what interests you about Indochino?
- There was an excel test.
