First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Indio.
Leasing Consultant
The interview process was super easy and straightforward. I interviewed with the property manager. We talked about job expectations and they asked me questions about situations a leasing agent would face daily to see how I would fit the position.
- Can you describe a time you had to work with a difficult tenant? What made them difficult, and how did you handle the situation?
Corporate Trainer
The interview process was really thorough, but it felt like a chill conversation with a friend. They laid out what they expected from me and asked about my expectations too. I talked to two people and then got the job offer.
- Can you share your expectations to ensure this company is a good fit for you as well?
Training Manager
I interviewed with Indio back in 2021, and I felt like it went really well, but then they totally ghosted me! I never heard anything back, not even after I followed up. No email, no call, nothing. I was just left hanging. That's never happened to me before.
- How familiar are you with property management?
- How familiar are you with in-person facilitation?
Project Manager
The interview process with Cardiff (a sister company of Indio) was a streamlined and professional experience. My best advice is to come prepared, as they know what they are looking for and ask the right questions to find it. There were a total of three interviews prior to receiving an offer. HR was extremely gracious in accommodating my schedule. The Director of Construction was very easy going and open, but also very direct in the information he was looking for from me as a potential candidate. It was 3-4 weeks later that I received a call for my final interview with the President of construction, and the interview/conversation was just as seamless as the two previous interviews. Again, come prepared to share your experiences and knowledge.
- How do you handle disagreements with team members, vendors, or subcontractors?
- Can you create a scope of work for interior and exterior tasks with given constraints?
