The interview process involved 2 stages. The people I spoke with were really nice, but they mentioned frequent layoffs which made me feel like the company is still operating like a startup. In the end, I didn't get an offer because other candidates had more years of experience.

After applying, I had several phone interviews where the scientist was impressed with my skills and wanted to hire me. The process slowed down significantly once my application reached HR. They kept me waiting for over two months and consistently avoided discussing compensation. It turned out they intended to offer me a low-paying contract position without the benefits advertised on their website, despite my MSc degree. I ultimately declined the offer and accepted a position elsewhere.

The interview process took about two and a half hours and felt like a marathon. I spoke with the hiring manager, two senior scientists, two staff scientists, two potential peer research associates, and also had a phone call with an associate recruiter. Everyone was friendly and happy to answer my questions. The questions covered all the positions on my resume, my personal and professional background, and my relevant skills. It's a unique and intense interview model, but thankfully no tricky questions. This was my first job interview after graduating, and it was quite an experience. They mentioned they notify all candidates about their status, which they did for me via email, even though I didn't get the job.
