Customer Service Representative
I applied in September and had a 30 minute phone interview in November and finally an in person interview in December. The office was very nice. I met with 4 of the team members for 30 minutes each, and they all seemed nice and asked basic questions about my experience and background. The only difficulty with the interview was the time length. This is definitely a “culture” driven team. I don’t think experience or background matter. They’re definitely trying to be “different” from the typical corporate process and environment but they’re not. They actually call and tell you that you didn’t get the job. I was excited about the company coming to Memphis and providing so many jobs for the city, but now I’m honestly not sure who those jobs are for and if we stand a chance. I can see diversity and inclusion being an issue for them.
- Tell me about high school. What was your favorite subject and what would that teach say about you?
Customer Service Representative
So first up, there's a phone screen interview. Then, if that goes well, you'll come into the office for a few hours of interviews. You'll meet with different people on the team, one after the other, with a break in between. The interviewers will probably focus on one or two specific job responsibilities, so make sure you know the role well.
- Can you share an instance where you made an error?
Customer Service Representative
It was a long day. It was 4 hours with 5 different people to interview with. The first interview talked about your childhood/high school/college background to the last interview talks about your current role.
- Can you tell me about any awards you received in high school?
- Which subject in school did you find the most challenging?
- And which subject did you find the easiest?
