Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Indiana University.
Student Worker
The interview was easy. It was mainly a matter of turning in the documents they requested for payroll. Once I submitted the documents, I started working the following week. It's a beginner-level job on campus that is easy to get to.
- When would you like to begin working here?
Intern
It was mostly a get-to-know-you chat with the two managers. It was just one round. Be ready for standard interview questions. While a public health background is a plus, it's not a must-have.
- What are your goals for this internship?
Student Assistant
The interview process was pretty casual and conducted by a residence hall manager. It's not too hard to get this position if you know someone already working at the residence hall. The role is all about customer service, so it's important to be friendly and smile a lot.
- Can you describe your time management strategies?
