So the interview process is through SSB, and after that, there are medicals. Then, there's an all-India merit list based on which the final selection is made. After that, the candidate has to clear basic physical training at the Indian Naval Academy and then do specialization courses before getting their first appointment.
- What is your motivation for joining the navy?

It is conducted at Service Selection Boards of the Armed forces at various parts of the country. First is a Screening Test which includes Qualitative aptitude, Psychometric analysis and Perception. Once you clear the Screening then a Five day procedure starts including Physicals, GD and tasks and Interview.
- Can you tell me about yourself, your family, and your interests?
Officer
The interview process spans 5 days. Day 1 is the screening process, followed by 4 days of intensive testing. These tests include picture perception and discussion, officer intelligence rating, word association, a personal interview, and an obstacle course, among others.
