I put in my application on a Saturday and got a response back on the following Thursday. I set up the initial phone chat for that same day using an automated scheduling tool. The interviewer was friendly and welcoming, putting me at ease right away. We talked for about 20-30 minutes, and I left feeling really positive about the role and my performance. She mentioned she'd be in touch soon. When I didn't hear anything by the next Wednesday, I emailed her, and she replied within a couple of hours to let me know they decided to move forward with other candidates.

I had an initial 20 min chat with a Manager on a Friday. They then informed me I was moving to the next stage, a writing exercise where I had to create a 1-day travel itinerary, due the following Monday. After submitting the assignment to HR, I received an invite for a 3rd round with HR on Tuesday. The scheduling then became chaotic with emails being copied to two HR people. Despite responding quickly to schedule, I received no reply. A follow-up the next day led to HR claiming they hadn't received my email and were fully booked, leading to rescheduling for the following week. They promised a calendar invite and Zoom link, but none were sent, even after multiple follow-ups. Post the scheduled interview time, HR emailed about tech issues and rescheduled again for the next week. This final interview felt like a formality. HR was late, didn't turn on their video, and the interview, intended for an hour, concluded in about 30 mins due to mutual disinterest. It felt like a strange tactic by HR.

Interviewing is fairly straightforward, but they do try to intimidate you a little bit to see how you react to being put on the spot, handling hard clients, etc. Usually, you will have a phone screen followed by an in-person interview lasting two hours where you speak with anywhere from 3-5 employees one after the next. They stack them in strategic ways so you'll have an easy one and then a hard one followed by another easy one. Fairly straight forward for a client-based company. They are looking for behavioral signs more than merit.

Had a call first, and then I came in for an interview. HR was really hard to get a hold of, and it felt like they weren't really listening to anything I said. HR asked for my availability for a specific interview day, I responded right away, but it took almost a week to get a confirmation back, which was actually past the date they initially requested. The same HR person was 20 minutes late for the interview and seemed eager to wrap things up. It was a pretty discouraging experience. I followed up with a thank you note, but I never heard back, not even a simple notification that they decided to move forward with other candidates. It's okay if a candidate isn't the right fit, but I believe basic courtesy for people's time and effort should be standard practice in these situations.
