Had an initial screening call with HR, then a call with the hiring manager, and finally a full-day in-person interview. Things seemed to go well, but communication was really bad, and they ended up ghosting me. The role was canceled, but they posted a new one in the same department. I applied again, and they set up another hiring manager call, followed by a 2-hour interview. Still no response after they said they'd reply within a week.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I went through an on-site interview for one position, and then an expedited process for the one I ultimately accepted. Both interview experiences started with a phone screen by the hiring manager. After that, I had one-on-one meetings with other biostatistics managers. During these meetings, they asked me some stats questions and a lot of behavioral ones. The on-site interview concluded with a presentation.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

I had an HR screening call in October, followed by a hiring manager Zoom interview in November. Then, I went for an on-site panel interview in December with 7 team members. After that, there was another on-site interview which involved a case study presentation and Q&A. This required traveling from another country to Morges twice, and I received positive feedback during the on-site stages. Unfortunately, I didn’t get an offer. It was a lot of effort with no reward. When they asked me to come for a second on-site interview, which wasn't initially planned, I mentioned my work and family commitments, but they insisted. Despite the positive feedback, they chose someone else. It’s frustrating because, as they told me, I 'raised the bar high, setting up a high benchmark.'

Behavioral Technical Other

The interviewers seemed unprepared, asking questions off the cuff and appearing disengaged. There was a lot of emphasis on remote work policies, with interviewers mentioning the CEO's strict in-office mandate despite the company having a new office space. It felt like they already had a candidate in mind and my interview was a pointless exercise for everyone involved. My advice is not to bother preparing for this. I'm glad I didn't receive an offer and would suggest looking for opportunities elsewhere. The process concluded with unprofessional ghosting after the final round, and I definitely won't be reapplying.
