Director
I went through several interviews, and honestly, it was a good experience overall. The people interviewing me were nice and professional, making it easy to talk. I felt like they listened to me and valued my input during every step, including when I spoke with HR, my potential manager, and even the international team members. The whole thing was straightforward and ran like clockwork.

Legal Counsel
I found the job posting on LinkedIn and also sent the hiring manager a direct email since her contact info was in the posting. The hiring manager was the person currently in the role, so there wasn't any contact with HR or the Talent Acquisition Team. A good thing is that the process moved fast. The first interview was set for the very next day. During this meeting, we talked about my background and went over the company and the specifics of the job. I asked her why she was leaving the company so soon, but her explanation didn't feel genuine, which struck me as a red flag. The second interview was scheduled for the following week and lasted 30 minutes, with the Hiring Manager and the Chief Delivery Officer (CDO). Most of the questions were straightforward, but the CDO's questions were so confusing that by the end, I wasn't even sure what was being asked. They seemed unprepared and didn't have any set questions. Still, I felt good about my answers and was pretty confident in how I did. At the end of that interview, I was told there would be a final round with the Head of Legal the next week and that I'd be notified if I advanced. I waited the whole week for an update about the second interview. As the week wrapped up, I emailed the hiring manager late Thursday evening for an update, especially since I knew the third stage was happening that week and I should have heard back by Tuesday at the latest about whether I'd made it to the final stage. Friday morning, I received an email from the hiring manager saying, 'I am sorry to inform you that we have extended an offer to another candidate and they accepted this morning.' This was really disappointing and disheartening. I'm not sure why companies and hiring managers keep doing this. Her email implies they were so far along in the hiring process that someone was offered and accepted the job, while I (and possibly others) were still waiting to find out the result of the second interview. I don't understand how people can feel good about acting this way. It was completely unprofessional. I replied to her email expressing my disappointment with the lack of communication and urged them to improve.

Content Manager
I applied in December and got an email for a screening call to talk more about the job. I agreed and we had the call. The recruiter seemed nice and friendly but brought up that my last job was in events and wondered if this role would be interesting to me. I told them this was the kind of job I was looking for. After the call, the recruiter said they'd schedule my first interview with the hiring manager for the first week of January and asked if Jan 2nd worked, which I said yes to. They mentioned they'd send the confirmation that day, but I never got it. It's been over a month with no word from the recruiter, which is pretty disappointing and a waste of my time.

So I first applied through the Graduate Recruitment Bureau (GRB), and they gave me a call to chat about the job and the company. After that, I had to go on the Incubeta website and fill out an application with some general marketing questions and a couple specific to the role. About 5 days later, I got an email to book an interview with Chloe, the hiring manager. It was pretty laid-back and just covered the role and my background. Then came the first round interview with a manager on the team. She asked me some standard, randomly generated questions, kinda like the written ones from the application – some scenarios, examples, and knowledge-based ones. I also had to do a numerical reasoning test on Zoom using Google Sheets, where I had to do calculations based on simple data tables. Right after that, I got an email saying I passed and was invited to a second interview. For that one, I had to prep a 15-minute presentation on paid search and shopping, and then answer questions from two senior managers. They threw in more of those generated questions too, and the whole thing was about 30-45 minutes. A couple of hours later, I had a final interview with the performance team manager, which we did that same afternoon. She asked more questions about the role and my understanding of paid search, and it lasted about 20 minutes. The next day, GRB called to say I got the offer, and then Chloe from Incubeta called to confirm the details.
