It was a pretty lengthy interview process, spanning about 6 to 7 rounds. The questions were engaging, though some felt a bit obscure or not directly tied to the role. I also found it challenging to get a clear picture of what the company actually does and its long-term goals throughout the hiring stages.

It was a long interview process - 5 rounds in person. They also did a personality test that seemed irrelevant. Candidates had to defend the results of this assessment. The company couldn't really justify working for clients that are considered unethical, like BlackRock and CocaCola.

Behavioral Technical

So many interviews, it felt totally disorganized and they weren't upfront about what was happening. They kept asking the same stuff over and over with different people. After 5 rounds, I started finding out new things about the job like having to work unpaid overtime and how many days a week I'd need to be in the office. Between the first interview and the last, I got mixed messages about the role and the company. Honestly, it was a bad experience and a total waste of my time.

Behavioral Presentation

The application process started with some great writing prompts that were really beneficial. The first two phone interviews were fantastic, with the interviewers really embodying the company's spirit. However, the in-person interview was a completely different experience. I was rushed and met with a cold reception. The interviewer, who was apparently an early employee, informed me that the interview would be shorter due to her own scheduling conflicts, which she seemed to resent me for. She interrupted me frequently, cutting me off mid-sentence and not allowing me to finish my thoughts. This was supposed to be a 'cultural fit' interview, but it felt nothing like it, indicating a communication breakdown. It felt like they might have already had an internal candidate, given how hostile and dismissive the interviewer was. The overall process was demanding and intense, though not necessarily difficult.

Confirmed questions6 questions
  • It has been a while since this interview, I didn’t want to post this immediately after because I truly love the company and wanted to continue to keep an eye out for future opportunities, hoping that the negative interviewer wouldn’t be a gatekeeper for other potential positions.
  • She is apparently gone now, for any future applicants.
  • Maybe it was her, maybe it was that she was having a terrible day and took it out on me.
