For the Quality department, they decided to consider internal candidates based on a seniority roster. Only those who had been with the company for a year were interviewed, irrespective of their skills or past work history. The interview process commenced with an HR interview, followed by a departmental interview, with all interviews conducted one-on-one. Ultimately, the position was awarded to an external candidate who possessed less experience.

The entire process was virtual and accessible, everything was excellent, the questions were very clear with varied answer options. The platform is in English, which could be a barrier for those who don't speak the language, but personally, I had no issues. I appreciate the attention given by the company.

First I had a chat with the engineering manager. It was a relaxed conversation where I was asked to make some sketches to explain a technical construction. Also, some general questions about traits and ambitions were asked. The second chat was with HR and we already discussed a contract.

I had to meet the plant forman and do a walk-through. They asked me some questions about the job, whether I think I would be a good fit, and when I could start.
