Applied 10/12/21 Interview 10/19/21 Virtual panel interview. An Excel test was given unexpectedly after the interview, which wasn't mentioned in the job description. It's important to use Excel daily or brush up on it. They will automatically disqualify you for this role, even if you're a great candidate. I got an offer for a different job at the company but turned it down.

The questions weren't really thought out. I was living outside the city and looking for this seasonal part-time job. After my first interview, I took a train home, and that same night I was called back to interview again with the same person the next day. I agreed and went back for a second interview with them, and after returning home, I got another call to come back a third time to interview with the same person. Each interview was only 15 minutes long, and I think they came up with more questions for me after I left. Not even considering that I lived in a different city, I feel like most follow-up questions could have been asked over the phone, or all of them could have been asked in one hour-long interview instead of three separate 15-minute interviews with the same person.

Technical Behavioral

I applied online and the senior director of treasury contacted me by email to set up a phone interview. I responded the same day, but it took her two weeks to reply and schedule me. The scheduled time was outside my provided availability, which immediately felt unprofessional. When the phone interview day arrived, it was as bad as I expected. The questions were irrelevant, and I wasn't given any information about the company or the role. Despite the role being about 80% technical, the interviewer seemed unaware of the technical skills I discussed or even the role's technical requirements. It was a terrible experience, and I wanted it to be over because it was clear this wasn't the right fit for me.

I applied online and kept an eye on my emails. Then, I was called in for an in-person interview. A background check was part of the process, followed by a four-hour company orientation. I also had to do an audition for the different classes. All in all, the interview process was quite lengthy!
