First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Implant Direct.
Sales Representative
Didn't get a good feeling from the interviewers. Felt they were being deceptive. Not saying don't just saying beware. The first was not difficult. The second interviewer was the one I wasn't crazy about and the one I had a bad feeling after leaving the interview.
- Can you provide details of past positions and what made you successful?
- What methods and processes have you employed that led to your success in previous roles?
Design Engineer
Technical problems were a major component. The interviewers were really nice and they care about your experience outside of this specific job, so be sure to mention it even if it's from another field.
- Testing your ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Assessing your proficiency with SolidWorks.
Regulatory Affairs Manager
After an initial recruiter call, I went through two phone screens. Then there was a half-day in-person interview with various leaders and people who would be on my team. Also, I had two more phone interviews with people who were not located at the site. The people I met were good, and the place seemed alright. I got a lot of positive signals, so I was surprised to not get an offer. The recruiting team was a major downside; they were really slow to confirm things and didn't reply after the interview, even after I followed up multiple times. I thought this was very unprofessional, especially after spending over 6 hours interviewing across three days for a management position.
- There were many situational questions, but they weren't too difficult.
Buyer
I met with the direct supervisor for the position, and spent a good 45 minutes interviewing with her. I had the opportunity to ask questions about the position and company culture. My interviewer was friendly and forthcoming. After that, I met with the head of HR, and we spent about 20 minutes together. I found out more information about benefits, the size of the company, etc. It was a relaxed, comfortable interview process.
- Can you tell me about a weakness you have?
