First there was a phone screen, then an in-person interview focused on behavior, and finally a zoom call with a technical person from the team. They all pretty much asked behavioral questions, not really checking technical skills directly, except for asking about my past experience.

I applied online and got a phone interview request. The interview was rescheduled last minute without an excuse just 10 minutes before it was supposed to happen. During the rescheduled interview, the interviewer seemed really disconnected. It felt like a waste of time from the beginning. They ghosted me afterward and didn't even send a rejection email. They should really do better.

I applied online and then got a phone call from HR. The HR person seemed to know a lot about the job, like they talked to the eCommerce team first. They asked some good questions to see if I'd fit in with the company. They said they'd call back in two weeks. I got an email within that time asking me to come in for an interview. HR gave me four time options. Before the interview, I got good directions and an agenda, which made me feel prepared. The on-site interview was a panel with seven people from the team, at different management levels. They were upfront about the company's history, its current vibe, and where they want to go with digital stuff. I didn't show a portfolio, but they asked a lot about my past projects and what I did. They told me the salary at the end. They said they'd let me know in two weeks if they wanted me to join. I got an offer in four days.

An outside recruiter hit me up on LinkedIn and I sent him my resume. He then reached out to the HR rep at Imperial Supplies. She had me take an online assessment which had 5 written questions and a personality test. After I finished, I waited about 2 days and the corporate recruiter called me to set up a phone interview. The interview was pretty straightforward, but they really want a specific answer for "sales process" questions. Imperial Supplies is a new company owned by Grainger and they're growing like crazy. When I asked the HR recruiter what corporate issues keep her up at night, she said the demand for constant growth is super high and this job isn't for everyone. This position seemed like really high-pressure sales that would require a ton of legwork to get going.
