It was a purely behavioural interview, no technical questions. They told me the specific position I was interviewing for during the interview. The interviewer was really friendly and started by chatting about Imperial. We then covered some formality questions (like work authorization in Canada, comfort with wearing PPE like gas masks, and if I had a valid driver's license). After that, we moved on to questions about teamwork, motivation, adaptability, and academics. I'll find out in two weeks if I got the job. EDIT: Feb 5: Got the job! :D

It was a pretty standard behavioral interview, actually, and it went for about an hour, which is the longest I've had. The interview had two parts. First, they asked all the usual questions that everyone gets, like asking about your proudest academic achievement. The second part was all about STAR method behavioral questions. I think there were about six of those in total. The interviewer picked each one from a list of about five options, so there are maybe 30 possible questions. They finished by asking if I had anything else to add. It was pretty conversational and relaxed. They asked me two STAR questions about leading teams, which caught me off guard since I haven't really led a team before. I actually knew more about the position than the interviewer did; he didn't even know what job I was interviewing for. I heard back via email 16 days after the interview.
