First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Imperial.
Graduate Student
It was relaxed and very enjoyable. Most of the questions were about my motivations and why I wanted to study aerospace engineering. Just make sure to remember you are talking to another person and not a robot.
- Can you name a part of an aeroplane that experiences elastic forces?
Administrative Assistant
The interview was nice, the professional was friendly. She gave feedback and was clear about the opportunity. The role was interesting, but I wasn't interested due to the distance, commute, and benefits. The company is nice, the project is cool.
- What are you looking for in your life project?
Nursing Associate
I was interviewed by 3 senior staff members. I had to write a paragraph about who CQC are and what they do. There was also a numeracy test. We discussed what I could bring to the unit and they asked me to tell them about a time I demonstrated... [specific skill].
- What innovative things did you do in your previous work?
- Why should we hire you?
