First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Imperial Dade.
Financial Analyst
So, the interview at Imperial Dade for the Senior Financial Analyst position was pretty in-depth. It kicked off with a recruiter chat where we went over my background in financial analysis, forecasting, and working with different teams. They also gave me the lowdown on the job and how the finance team is set up. Then came a case study where I had to build a forecasting model using financial data, come up with insights, and then present my findings and ideas to the Director of Finance and a Finance Manager. They grilled me on my assumptions, how I built the model, and how I'd present it to higher-ups. The last bit was another chat, this time with the VP of Finance, which was more about strategy and just talking shop – focusing on my experience supporting execs, handling tough financial stuff, and explaining numbers to them. It was a solid process, testing both my technical skills with the case study and how well I can explain financial info to important people.
- What's your approach to building and structuring a financial forecasting model?
- Could you explain how you analyze and communicate budget versus actual variances?
- How would you go about forecasting revenue when you don't have much past data?
Supply Chain Coordinator
Easy interview, you have to prepare and be confident when you’re interviewing for this role. They ask about your experience and education. They usually do 2 interviews with one being in person.
- Can you tell me about your experience and education?
Inventory Performance Analyst
Applied on Nov 5th 2024 and heard back the same day for a phone call interview. Had a phone screening with questions about my past experience and understanding of inventory management and performance. This was followed by a predictive index behavioral assessment. Haven't heard back since.
- Can you explain your past experience and understanding regarding inventory management?
Warehouse Manager
So I had a phone interview right after I applied, with the recruiter. Then I had an in person interview with the hiring manager pretty soon after. Things seemed to go well for about a week, with good communication from everyone. After that, I had to be the one to reach out for updates, like, constantly. Emails and calls started getting ignored. I never got an offer, but honestly, with how unprofessional things got, I probably wouldn't have taken it anyway. It's frustrating when companies ghost candidates when they hate being ghosted themselves. Kind of shows you how they operate.
- Would this position provide sufficient challenge for you?
