I applied for the role on student shaper and then took an online assessment. After that, there was only a phone interview where I spoke with a Professor in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial. I really enjoyed the job.

It was a really simple process. You start with a long online application with a bunch of questions that need 300+ words each, like why Imperial, why this course, and your future goals and what skills will help you get there. You also need at least two recommendations from professors or important staff. Then, there's a short video interview with five questions that have very short recording times. Some people got invited for in-person interviews, but most of it is online now.
