First, I had to give a presentation about my past scientific research, and then the panel asked me some questions about it. After that, there was a second part where we talked about general ways of working, and I got to chat with the lab people without the PI. They also showed me around the lab and facilities.

Imperial HR arranged the interview efficiently. It was a friendly and informal chat with three people from the team: the group leader, a research fellow, and a postdoc. I had to give a 10-minute presentation about my previous research, and then we discussed potential future projects and grant applications.
