First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Impartner.
Marketing Campaigns Manager
This was the most unorganized and unhinged interview process ever. They kept adding rounds and then gave me a project on a Thursday morning, due by Friday afternoon. I was out of town and asked why this was added and why there was only 1 day to complete it. The recruiter sent a super long ChatGPT email explaining it was added for all candidates but I was the last to receive it? Very weird. Also the hiring manager asked me why I was changing jobs (was at my current job for 2 years) when he was only 3 months in at Impartner and his previous experience before that was 5 months? I will never forget this interview and how its a classic example of what NOT to do.
- Can you tell me about your Marketo experience?
Software Engineer in Test
I interviewed for a software engineer in test role at Impartner and it was a really fast and awesome experience. It was all wrapped up in about a week to a week and a half. I just got the official offer today and accepted it. The culture sounds great, not too competitive, more of a get your stuff done and have fun kind of place. That's my impression after the whole interview process.
- What do you hope to get out of your time at Impartner?
- What are your expectations for a role like this?
Support Web Developer
So, first I had a short call with a recruiter, and they set me up to come in for a technical interview. It was with the Support Manager and a Product Manager. They asked me the usual stuff about my background, experience, and what I expect from the job. Oh, and there was a basic logic test I had to do in writing at the end. Got the offer pretty quickly after that, like the next day. No coding tests or anything.
- If a client had an issue with their website or portal, what's the first thing you'd do to fix it?
Product Manager
The interview process was really quick. First, I had a phone interview, then an in-person interview. They even took me out to lunch. The very next day, they called with the job offer. I liked how fast it was. The hiring manager seemed nice during the interviews and I thought he'd be collaborative, but that wasn't the reality once I started working there.
- Can you elaborate on the software development process and your experience with Agile methods?
