Marketing Assistant
The interview felt like the senior manager had already decided not to hire me before I even spoke. I knew she would reject me from the start. She was rude and really demeaning throughout the short interview. It felt like a total waste of my time since nothing I said would have changed her mind. Even if I had gotten a second interview, I would have backed out because the experience was so bad. Who would want to work for someone who acts like that? The senior manager asked about my time management and ability to juggle multiple projects in a really patronizing way. She suggested most uni grads only handle one project at a time, which is just not true. I juggled multiple overlapping deadlines and other stuff during my degree. It seemed like she thought uni deadlines or society projects wouldn't cut it, no matter how much detail I gave. I had internship experience, but that clearly wasn't enough. No one should need years of full-time experience for a job listed as entry-level.
- What makes you want this job? Tell me about a time you handled working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Can you provide examples of how you've managed multiple projects at once?
Marketing Executive
I applied on LinkedIn and got an email about a week later for a screening call to go over the role. I had my call last Monday, March 1st, with the person in charge of hiring. It seemed to go well and they said I'd hear back in a week if I was moving on. It's been over a week and I've heard nothing. To make it worse, I just saw the job posted again on LinkedIn. I'm guessing asking about salary flexibility is why I didn't get a response.
- What makes you want to join Immediate Media?

Marketing Executive
First, HR will call you to discuss your experience and some general stuff. After that, you'll have an online meeting with the marketing head for competency-based questions. It all went well.
- Could you describe your most recent position?
