The interview began with a recruiter call to gauge mutual fit, discuss skills, and experience. It was a good chat. Following that, I interviewed with folks from Sales, Creative, and the Account Management team I would be joining. Everyone was very friendly and approachable. They kept me informed about internal discussions and what to expect next, which was a welcome change from companies that go dark.

My whole Imgur interview experience was great! It was really thorough and fair. The recruiter was awesome at explaining things and keeping me in the loop. It started with a recruiter phone screen, then a few more phone interviews (one was a face-to-face hangout), and finally an in-person round with 4-5 team members. Everyone was super friendly and responsive the whole time, and they really made an effort to get to know me. I got the job offer and started about three weeks ago! Honestly, I really enjoyed interviewing at Imgur.

I applied online in May. About a week later, the recruiter called and was super nice, really selling the company. Then, I had a Skype interview with the Manager. After that, I was given an Imgur assignment. They were quick to move me to the onsite interviews, where I met three people in person and two via Skype since they were based in Los Angeles. I really liked the people I met and the office space in downtown San Francisco. I was pretty nervous and felt I didn't do my best. Two days later, the recruiter let me know I didn't get the role, explaining why – I was missing some key skills for the position. We agreed to stay in touch as they might have openings next year. The whole process took about four weeks.
