Behavioral Other

It was a super chill process! I heard back about the position the very next day and jumped right into the role. I originally applied through Indeed, and about three weeks after that, I got an email asking me to interview.

Coding Behavioral

The interview process kicked off with an online coding test. After that, I had a series of five 1-hour in-person interviews on the same day. There's a big focus on behavioral questions, which felt quite scripted and didn't really explore how I work. Each interview slot also included a brief coding exercise at the end. However, due to the time constraints, these coding parts felt a bit superficial. If you didn't immediately nail their expected solution, there wasn't enough time to discuss or refine it, leaving me unsure about my performance. While I'm sure they hire great people, this method seems inefficient and might cause them to overlook some really strong candidates.

Coding Technical

The interview process involved a 90-minute coding test on Codility, which I felt had gimmick questions and not enough time. This was followed by a 1-hour technical interview. The interviewer seemed unprepared and nervous, and asked basic-level questions that didn't seem like good indicators of ability. IMDb declined to offer feedback after I was rejected.
