Hardware Engineer
Recruiter was super slow to respond, made it hard to schedule. They finally set up an in-person interview (I'd have to fly internationally) for the NEXT DAY, and only rescheduled after I pushed back. The interview itself is straightforward but tough. Two 80-min rounds, with two different interviewers each. Lots of whiteboarding. Flying us out is a nice perk, but the way they treated us showed they don't care about our time.
- Can you illustrate with a block diagram how a memory primitive, such as RAM, interacts with its wrapper?
Hardware Engineer Intern
So first, there was an online assessment. Then I had three interview rounds. The first was a one-hour technical interview, focusing on my solution to the online assessment. Next was a 3-hour "super day" with four engineers, where they asked standard digital design questions. Lastly, there was a 45-minute behavioral interview.
- If the specifications were to change, how would you modify your design?
- What changes in propagation delay would you expect with different specifications?
- What differences in resource utilization would result from changing the specifications?
Hardware Engineer
The entire process included an initial application, an aptitude test, then a technical video interview, followed by a phone interview. After that, there were two in-person rounds: a technical interview with members of the hardware development team where I had to answer whiteboarding questions, and a behavioral interview.
