It began with a coding test in C++, which wasn't too tough but had some clever questions. After that, I spoke with a derivatives quant. They asked a couple of brain teasers from ‘Heard on the Street’. The person interviewing me was nice and professional. Overall, it was a good experience.

I had an initial screening call with the HR manager, which was brief but friendly since I'd worked there before. I quickly moved to the next stage, a face-to-face interview. I noticed the interview felt more structured than my previous experience there. The questions were well-thought-out and focused on my motivation and drive to progress, as well as customer focus, which was a key priority.

Behavioral Technical

HR recruiter got in touch to ask about my background and experience. After chatting with her, about a week later I sent a follow-up email. The recruiter let me know the team wanted to move forward to the second round. The second round went pretty well, but the team didn't seem as enthusiastic to meet me as I was to meet them. All my interviews were on Teams, including the HR screen, so keep that in mind. Even though the second round went well, I didn't get an offer.

Everyone was laid back and welcoming. I felt as if they wanted to know me as a person and if I would be a cultural fit for the company. A lot of questions were geared to see how you would react in a given situation.
