First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Imagine!.
Coordinator
The process starts with a phone screen with HR then an in person interview with the hiring manager and a second person. Process takes a couple of weeks and is similar to other places.
- Describe a situation where someone disagreed with your decision and how you managed it.
Controller
I interviewed with 2 people, the CFO and the Controller. I passed the first round interviews, and then I went on to do an in-person interview with around 8 people asking me questions. About a week later, I got a call offering me the job, but it wasn't for the Controller position at $100,000 as advertised; they had changed it to 'Sr. Accountant' at $80,000. It felt a bit like a bait and switch.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Data Specialist
I applied online and got an email the same day for a phone interview. After that, I was sent a link to provide 5 references, and I had to contact 5 of my former supervisors to complete a reference survey. It's been over a month and I haven't heard back. Obviously, I didn't get the job, but if you're going to make me waste my time and everyone else's time to fill out a reference survey, the company could at least let me know they've moved on with another candidate. Don't waste your time with these people as they clearly lack common courtesy and won't bother following up with you again.
- Can you describe your relevant experience?
EI Coordinator
Awesome interview experience. It was a very relaxed and genuine process. They first asked for references, then there was a phone interview, followed by an invitation to interview. I thought it was very professional as it should be. The best part of the hiring process was speaking with the recruiter. Any and all questions could be asked because of her knowledge.
- Were there questions pertaining to the position and your personal experience?
