They talked about the basics of support and programming, and then dove into Java thread lifecycle, synchronization, concurrency handling, exception management, and debugging. We also discussed my past projects, including backend development, integrating APIs, optimizing performance, fixing bugs, and providing production support to make sure applications were stable and ran efficiently.

Behavioral Presentation

I applied for the Reporting Analyst job. The HR lead did a phone call with me and thought the role might be too junior, but invited me for an in-person interview to discuss roles and skills. I interviewed with 5 people in a relaxed panel interview. We discussed my skills, the company, and culture. After about 30 minutes, they offered me a Campaign Manager role, which they thought was more aligned with my skill level. I was unsure, so they let me think about it. The HR lead then emailed me about a trial day where I'd shadow and get a better feel for the role. This was an amazing and unusual step, so I agreed. I spent a day in the office, met great people, and felt it was the perfect company. However, the role wasn't exactly what I was looking for, so I declined. It was a low-stress, enjoyable experience. The people and company are great, and I'll keep an eye out for future openings.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process began with a video submission. Next, I had a phone screening with HR, who gave a quick overview of the company and role and asked some basic pre-screening questions. The third interview was with two senior managers, but the whole process felt unprofessional, with emails lacking subject lines and the third interview getting rescheduled only half an hour before it was supposed to happen. I didn't get any info on the process or wait times, and the senior managers seemed unprepared and disengaged, like they were just going through the motions. Red flags were up from the start, just like with past employee reviews.
