Student Assistant
I applied online and then heard from the manager via email. We then scheduled an interview, and I went to her office. I got there a bit early and waited for her. I ended up talking most of the time while she took notes.

Student Assistant
The hiring process is pretty straightforward. You can find job openings through the Career Management Center, by asking colleagues, and through various other channels. The next step is to create and submit your resume online for verification. After applying with your resume, if you're selected, the relevant department personnel will contact you for an interview. They'll ask you questions about your experience related to the job you applied for. You can expect to hear back about the results of the interview within 2-3 weeks, depending on the situation. It's a great place to work, with experienced management and helpful staff.

Student Assistant
So for the Graduate Student Assistant role, I first sent in my resume and cover letter through the school's website. About a week later, they asked me to do a virtual interview. It was with a panel, like the department head and two of the senior assistants. They asked me about my school stuff, what skills I have, and why I wanted the job. At the end, I got to ask them some questions about the role.
