First, there was an online aptitude test, so make sure to practice common aptitude questions covering quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability. Websites like Indiabix and books like RS Aggarwal are good for this. Remember to practice managing your time well, as these tests are usually timed. Taking online mock tests is also a good idea to get used to the test environment. After that, there was a technical round. You should review the core concepts in your technical stack, specifically Java, JDBC, MySQL, PL/SQL, Spring MVC, JavaScript, and RabbitMQ. Be ready to solve coding problems and debug code, practicing on websites like LeetCode and HackerRank. You'll also need to discuss your past projects, especially your recent work on REST API-based connectors, database connectors, and the house rental application. Make sure to highlight your problem-solving skills and technical contributions.

I got through the HR round and then the product lead round for the Product Owner role. The next step was an interview with the chairman. However, the chairman decided I was a better fit for a Support Lead role and changed the interview's focus. Then, for the Lead role, an interview was conducted by a lead where I was asked about joining as L1 Support, despite having 6 years of experience and previously working as L3. They then acknowledged it was an internal communication mistake and finalized the interview process. After this, I was offered a package similar to my current one. They said they would review and get back. When I followed up, they started questioning if I had other interviews or offers, blaming me for not giving them enough time. The process began in February 2022 and it's now May 2022 with no update. I heard from others that they don't even pay salaries on time, with employees only getting 50% and the company becoming unresponsive afterward. It was a terrible experience.

I applied through the website and got a call from HR. I didn't continue after the first round with a Senior HR person because the first round itself left a bad taste. I felt the interviewer wasn't interested in my profile after a couple of minutes. She must have thought I wasn't capable enough. But the bad part was that instead of saying they weren't interested, it felt like they were doing me a favor. That's a dealbreaker for me; if senior HR people act like that, I'd rather not proceed.

I spoke with a senior person. They outlined the role and responsibilities clearly. We discussed my expertise in the required areas and reviewed my past work. It was good because we both understood what was expected and agreed on the job duties.
