Applied online and received a call letter. Then had a presentation, followed by a faculty interaction, a departmental interview, and finally a panel interview. After that, I got an offer letter. The police verification was a very tedious process. Then came joining and several other formalities.

It was a pretty standard process, they didn't ask much directly but instead did a lot of cross-questioning. The interview panel was quick, and even though our connection dropped once, we continued the interview over chat. It was just one round where they combined everything. In the end, they asked how I'd contribute to the initiative.
