First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IFTTT.
Community Support Specialist
I applied for the community support specialist role and went through interviews and an assignment, but was ultimately rejected. The interviews were engaging and well-structured, with thoughtful conversations and an interesting team. However, the communication after the rejection was disappointing. I spent a lot of time on the interviews, the assignment, and research. After being rejected, I asked for feedback but never heard back. Even a short reply would have shown respect for the effort I put in. Strong interview experiences should include professional follow-up communication. It was also frustrating to see the role reposted after my rejection, which felt like asking candidates to do free work. This treatment made me cancel my subscription to IFTTT, as it showed a lack of care for the community.

Digital Content Manager
The interview experience felt relaxed and approachable. I only went through one round of interviews. The company is quite small but has a huge impact, making their hiring process seem quite selective.
- Can you share if you've managed content for products aimed at consumers before?
Product Manager
First, a recruiter reaches out to prep you and arrange the logistics like time and duration. Then, you gotta bring your win documents to talk about your achievements without getting flustered. Make sure you also prepare what you know about the company you're aiming for. After that, we'll just chill and chat. Finally, we'll sort out the money, timing, and any expectations about growing with the company or not.
- What made you choose to work for this company? Tell us about the company and why you'd be a good fit. Do you have any specific skills you want to highlight?
- Can you share any awards or recognition you've received?
- Do you happen to know anyone here?
Marketing Manager
There were four interviews in total. The first two were with my direct supervisor, and the last two were with people I'd be working with across different teams. It was mostly behavioral questions, but they also gave me two take-home assignments. All in all, it was a pretty brief process.
- What's prompting you to look for a new role outside of your current job?
