First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IFRC.
Administrative Assistant
The interviews will be conducted by a panel and can take place over the phone, via video conference, or in person at one of our offices. The main goal is to see if you're a good fit for our company culture and to learn more about what you've accomplished and what drives you. The panel will want to hear about your personal experiences and will ask for specific examples to back up what you say.

Communications Officer
The interview was professional and well-organized, and the interviewers were respectful. They asked good questions about communication strategy, handling crises, and talking to stakeholders. They were clear about what the job involves and what they expect. It felt more like a chat where we could both learn, rather than just them asking me questions. They made me feel comfortable, so I could talk about my experience and also find out more about what IFRC does and the team's vibe. All in all, it was a good and interesting experience that made me think well of the organization.

Communications Intern
I applied for an internship role with the Red Cross, and the process was pretty straightforward. First, I submitted my info and resume online. Then, I did a writing assignment to test my communication and problem-solving skills, which was tough but fitting for the role. I could do the next interview in person or online, and I chose online. The interviewer was really nice and asked me typical questions about my background and why I wanted the job.

PMER Officer
The interview process started with a written test, followed by an online interview one week later. I thought the interview process was bad and the interviewers were not professional. They seemed to lack experience in their field. They did not provide any feedback after the interview and did not inform me whether I was selected or not.
- What is a logframe, and do you have experience with proposal writing?
