For a straightforward copywriter role, I went through what felt like too many interviews, four in total. I spoke with the office manager, the department lead, the CMO (even though her title was different then, the job was the same), and the CEO. It was a bit repetitive since I had to explain the same things to everyone. I figured they could have had two people in each meeting to make it more efficient.

I got through two of the three rounds for this role. The first was a remote call with HR, and the second was in person with the supervisors. My direct manager was leading the interview but was distracted by his computer. It was only an hour long and felt rushed, and they didn't ask many questions or leave much time for me to ask them. Doug seemed great, but since no one was hired, I suspect the role wasn't actually available, or like many companies, they're unsure of what they need. Given this and ongoing "restructuring reviews", I'd proceed with caution.

I had a phone screening for this role that I am more than capable of and was only asked surface level questions, with little opportunity to discuss my skillset. I was then told they weren’t moving forward because they were hoping to hear about recent experience but I wasn’t even asked about it.

It was a really professional yet welcoming interview process. Everything was organized and run very smoothly. I'd definitely suggest talking to someone on their team if you get the opportunity.
