I went through two interviews. The first was with my supervisor and a manager, and the second was with higher-ups. We mostly chatted about my past experience with handling different claims and processes. It felt more like a conversation than a formal interview.

I was not selected to interview but my main concern is that this company wanted my social security number as part of the application. How can they guarantee the security of my personal data which is not relevant for an interview? Why would this specialty insurance company want the responsibility of such personal and protected candidate data? Hope they identified qualified HR candidates to fix this

Recruiter reached out after I applied online. We scheduled a call for 6/18, but right before it, she emailed saying she had a house showing and wanted to reschedule for later that day. I agreed, but then there was no call and no email. I followed up to make sure we were still on the same page, and she replied that the day got away from her but she was still interested. I gave her my availability for the next week, ending 6/25, and haven't heard back since. I get that it's a busy time and an employer's market, but this is disrespectful of my time. If this is how they treat candidates, I can only imagine how employees are treated at IFG.

The interview process was a bit rough. The candidate was late and had internet issues. They asked some questions that weren't even in the job description. I asked for clarification on one question because my current job uses different terminology, and they just said 'no.' They also asked me to list the top 5 losses in the last 5 years, but the examples they provided were all from the past few weeks.
