The interview process was pretty good and really matched the job. Instead of typical LeetCode problems, the interviews focused on real-world engineering stuff and practical coding that you'd actually do. Technical talks were about system design, solving problems, and thinking through realistic engineering challenges, not just memorizing algorithms. The coding part also felt like daily development, focusing on writing clean, maintainable code and explaining design choices. Overall, it felt like they respected candidates' time. It was nice to have an interview loop that cared more about practical skills, teamwork, and engineering sense than weird puzzle questions.

I had a great time interviewing with IEX. It was well run, clear, and they respected my time. The recruiters were in touch a lot and told me what to expect. The best part was the people I met. They really knew their stuff but were also easy to talk to and work with. The talks felt real and practical, not just theory, which gave me a good idea of how the team works. It was also good that they were open about the tough parts and the good parts, which made me trust the process. The recruiters did a good job setting things up and keeping me in the loop, and it all moved along nicely without feeling rushed. All in all, it was one of the most professional and thought-out interviews I've had, and it made me more excited to join. Advice for candidates: Be ready to talk about real examples of your work, especially how you solved problems, worked with others, and made an impact. They care about hands-on experience and clear thinking.

IEX’s interview process was really organized. Communication was fast at all stages, the recruiter was clear about what to expect, and the interviews felt more like genuine conversations about my experience rather than just ticking boxes. Everyone I spoke with was prepared and actually interested in my background and what I had done. What was great: • Recruiting kept me informed with steady, clear updates • The interview rounds were well-planned with specific themes each time (role fit, how I deliver projects, managing stakeholders, and technical understanding) • They were very respectful of my time, scheduling was easy and they were always on time • They had an honest chat about the job scope, what they expected, and how success is measured

I applied online for this role. The HR person was very professional and quick to respond to set up an initial phone call. This led to a second phone call with someone on the Market Operations team which was more technical. After that I received an email saying that I did not make it on to the short list of people moving to the next round. I replied to the HR person expressing my disappointment and asked for constructive feed back. No reply.
