First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IES Residential.
IT Manager
Everything was good and I feel comfortable but the outcome was bad. I would recommend doing the process anyway. The interviewer was kind and tried to resolve my doubts, also, it gave me a lot of information about the process, the position and the company.
- What are 5 things you want to improve?
Software Developer
Started with a phone call, then went onsite for a coding exercise. During the coding part, you have to explain what you're doing. You build 3 applications, and someone helps you out. You can use some websites for reference, but not Stack Overflow.
- What does this code output?
Safety Administrative Assistant
I had the worst recruiter call me about this job. Absolutely smug, conceited, and unprofessional. I could not believe that he said the things he said on the phone. I definitely appreciated the phone screen so that I could say no to this company!
- He asked if I would leave this job after receiving my degree.
- He asked about pay as well.
Warehouse Manager
It was a simple conversation with not many questions about the job itself. They mentioned I would shadow the current Warehouse Manager, but that never happened.
- What are your hobbies or how do you spend your free time?
