First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IDL Worldwide.
Financial Analyst
After applying, I was asked to do a personality assessment within 24 hours. The HR rep was really good at selling the company during our 30-minute chat and was very informative. My assessment results showed a strong fit for the role. About a month later, I had a second interview with the hiring managers, which lasted about an hour. I followed up with the HR rep several times but was told there was no update on my application. A month after that, the job was no longer listed on the company's website.
- Can you explain how your experience in a different industry would be relevant to this role?
- Describe how you would approach a situation where you need to establish new processes for a position.
Intern
Had a quick over the phone call. It was mostly about how I could fit in the company and my thoughts on their work. Everyone I spoke with was very nice, loved the casual feel but also the quality of questions. Great people and attitude from my experience.
- What were your thoughts about the company and how would you fit in?
Project Manager
I went through 7 interviews over a 4-month period. It felt like the company was unsure about what they needed or what the role would actually be. They had me sign an NDA because of client confidentiality, preventing me from naming clients. After what I thought was my last interview, one of the interviewers told me I got the job. But then I didn't hear anything for two weeks, which was typical given their slow communication. When I followed up, I got a generic email saying I didn't get the position due to 'restructuring' and uncertainty. Looking back, I should have pushed for a clearer answer earlier. The people were nice and the work seemed interesting, but it ended up being a big waste of time, and their promises weren't reliable.
- Tell me what you know about IDL.
Designer
It was a telephonic interview, straight to the point. Two people conducted it, and they knew exactly what they were looking for. One of them was a technical person who listened to the entire conversation.
- Can you describe your experience?
