Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IDFC FIRST Bank.
Business Analyst
Went through 2 technical rounds and then an HR round. They asked stats questions and some personal background questions. The questions were pretty standard difficulty, and you need to be sure of your logic for the field. Just stay calm and be ready.
- Questions about PCA
- Questions about model development
- Statistics related questions
Business Analyst
HR set up a technical interview with the VP. It was supposed to be 30 mins but only lasted 10 mins because the interviewer was on his phone a lot. My friend had the same experience a couple of days before, a 10-min interview that was cut short. I interviewed a month ago and the position is still open because I'm still getting calls from consultancies about it. I'm not sure what they're looking for, they barely asked any basic questions.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you describe your job profile and any projects you've worked on?
- What are your technical skills?
Business Analyst
I applied through college for this role and went through an initial aptitude and psychometric test. After that, there was one round of interviews. Overall, it was an easy interview. We started with warm greetings and then got into the process.
- Can you explain your understanding of this role?
- Would you consider yourself a data-driven individual?
- If presented with a case, how would you approach structuring the problem?
