First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ideum.
Project Manager
Submitted resume and work samples online. Got an email confirming acceptance and scheduling the interview. The interview time felt short, and I didn't get to ask most of my questions because of the set time limit.
- Would you be comfortable with the owner being closely involved in your work and offering input on changes?
- Is it okay with you that the owner is very hands-on, as this can sometimes be a challenge for people?
Media Systems Technician
Applied online. Then I Had two phone interviews - one with the department manager, then one with all the managers and CEO. Got offer. Should have flown out to check it out in person, but they are good salesmen of BS.
- When would you be available to start?
- What software systems are you familiar with?
- Would you be open to working in other departments too?
Exhibit Designer
It was a great experience. The interview felt personal, and the interviewers seemed genuinely interested in me and my reasons for applying. The technical interview was lengthy but relevant to the daily tasks of the job.
- What motivates your interest in working with us?
Intern
Had a quick phone chat with two people from the team about my background. They said they'd let me know. I waited three weeks to ask for an update, but still no reply. There's no HR here, so nobody to help out employees or potential ones.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
