Applied on LinkedIn, recruiter called for initial screening. Then interviewed by General manager, given a case study and 2 more rounds. Received offer afterwards though it took a few weeks after final round (like 2-3 weeks)

The HR phone screening and interview with the hiring manager were nice and went smoothly. The recruiter mentioned she mixed up the roles she was explaining during the interview. She did backtrack, but I didn't feel I had the right info for the role I applied for by the end. After the interview with the hiring manager, I was told we'd talk again at the start of the next week. This was also in their response to my thank you email. I ended up reaching out a week later and the position was already filled. Not sure if they would have told me if I hadn't asked. heh heh I love a good rejection email. It's the spooky ghosting that's a bummer.

The interviews themselves were pretty chill, everyone was super nice. I was really hoping to get the job. I had to go through 6 interviews in total. After about 4 weeks and all those interviews, they extended an offer. They initially said I'd get the offer email that same night. But the NEXT day, super late at 9:50 PM, I got an email saying there was a budget hiccup and they'd call me in the morning. The following day, they offered me $10K less than expected, which I took because I was still really excited about the company. Then, three days later, I got another email saying they were sorry, but they couldn't make payroll for an employee in a state where they don't charge customers tax (which I found weird since I don't sell anything). Because of that, they could no longer offer me the position.

So first you gotta do three assignments. The first one's usually like a basic JS knowledge test. The second one's about docs, and you can totally find the answer there. The third one's a bit trickier, takes like half an hour. After that, if you did well, you'll have a screening call. It's a chill chat about your past work. You might even get an offer right then and there.
