So, the hiring process for this role kicked off a bit differently. Instead of the usual email or phone outreach, they initially reached out via LinkedIn to set things up. The first call felt like a pretty standard screening. Then, a few days later, I got another LinkedIn message asking if we could chat again because they had one more question. This question wasn't really tied to the job description, and they wanted to connect the same day. After taking the time to reconnect and answer it, I was told I'd get an update the next day on what's next. But, it ended up being almost two weeks before I heard back through LinkedIn again, just to let me know they'd gone with someone else. Not long after, I saw the job ad pop up again. It really just goes to show how crucial clear communication and sticking to timelines are during hiring.
