The process was pretty straightforward. The people were nice. They gave a good overview of daily duties and explained living arrangements and team expectations. They made sure we understood the company's core values and incentives. Overall, it was a great, smooth process. They responded in a reasonable amount of time.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was unprofessional and discourteous. I went in for a second interview in-person, and the experience was very pleasant. I spoke with upper management, and we connected really well. So well, in fact, that by the end of the interview, I was led around the offices and met with the rest of the C-level staff. I won't go into specifics, but I was told I would be called by the end of the week with an offer. That's how well the interview went. Then, nothing. No calls. No emails. I repeatedly reached out for updates and was completely ghosted. Literally could not get even a one-word response from anyone. I don't think this is a proper way to treat applicants respectfully. I'm sure this unprofessional behavior trickles down to their employees as well.

I had 4 interviews in total. The first was more of a get-to-know-you phone call, very low pressure, and I asked most the questions. My second interview was with the Director of Projects and the VP of HR. They were friendly and comfortable, asking about my previous experience and qualifications without any tricky questions. My third interview was with the president, who mostly talked about the company and asked high-level questions as he wasn't sure what specific questions to ask for the role. My final interview was very informal, a lunch with the VP of Creative, which I think was mostly about 'cultural fit'.

To even get to the interview stage, you first have to pass a coding test where you can use any programming language you like. I actually didn't pass the coding test, so I never made it to the interview and didn't get the job.
