I applied to several jobs at Idea Grove and was contacted about the SM Internship. First, I had a phone interview, which was fast and easy. Then, I was given an assessment that required me to create 8 social posts (graphics and captions) and respond to about 10 potential client comments. I had 5 days to finish it, and it ended up being 8 pages long. I felt this was too much work for an internship. After that, I had a second interview that lasted over an hour with two people. They said they would review my assessment and decide if I would move on to the 90-minute culture interview. It was a lengthy process, and I put a lot of time into it, but I didn't advance because my assessment had a few grammar errors. They mentioned they wished I had spent more time on it because of those errors, which felt a bit harsh given how hard I worked on it because I was so excited about the opportunity. The people I spoke with were nice and helpful, and I wish I could have had the chance to show them more of what I could do to be part of Idea Grove, which they spoke highly of.

The interview process was really quick and efficient. Everyone on the team was friendly and asked good questions to learn more about me. There were no pushy sales pitches or unnecessary interviews. It started with a chat with my direct manager, then I met with three people from other teams, and finished with the President/COO.

I had a phone interview, and then they invited me for a second interview. I met with three people there, but their unprofessional attire was a real turn-off. They also seemed unenthusiastic about their clients and their past work.

The interview process was pretty long and took about a month. It started off with a phone interview. Then, I went into the office for like 2-3 rounds of group interviews. They also had me do a writing test.
