Behavioral Presentation

Had six interviews with five VPs. The second interview questioned my willingness to take a step back for the job. The third interview framed the role as a lower-level position than advertised. The role itself changed during the process. By the time the fourth and fifth interviews happened, they were talking about a different role, and I was already hesitant. They gave me the impression I should be thankful they were still interested in talking. The recruiter was great and tried to keep me engaged, but the hiring managers seemed unsure about what they were looking for.

Behavioral Technical

Applied online and got a phone screen with questions about my background. Then, I had a video interview where I was asked questions about safety and had to have my camera on and dress nicely. They said my weakness (delegating tasks) was obvious and I needed to pick another. I got to the next interview, which was with someone much more senior, who didn't turn their camera on and sounded like they were driving. They just said 'hmm okay' after my answers about leadership style and then asked the next question. At the end, they said the recruiter would reach out, but they had many more interviews. I waited a week, reached out, and they just said they were still interviewing and to wait.

You'll start by submitting your application and resume online. We'll then do an initial screening call or email to chat about your background and what you're looking for. Depending on the role, there might be a technical or skill assessment. If that goes well, you'll have a first interview with HR to talk about your qualifications and if you'd fit with our company values. Then, you might have a second interview with department heads or team leads to check out your capabilities. Some folks also do a behavioral assessment to see how they'd fit culturally. If all goes well, we might extend a job offer with all the details on salary and benefits. After you accept, we'll get you onboarded with orientation and training.

  • Could you introduce yourself?
  • What about this role and our company caught your eye?
  • Tell me about a time you used your problem-solving skills.
