I interviewed for a Senior Developer role, which turned out to be more of a Tech Lead position based on a clarified job description. The interview had 3 rounds. The first was technical, mainly a discussion to gauge my technical expertise in the relevant tech stack. The second round focused on managerial aspects and cultural fit. The third round assessed stability and cultural alignment for the India office.

I was invited to talk with the recruiter and some team members, but then I was ghosted without any feedback. It's baffling how companies operate like this nowadays, wasting so much time for everyone involved.

The interviews were pretty straightforward, mostly focused on basic client or project management queries. The first interview was with the team I'd be working with and my potential line manager, and they were quite pleasant. However, the second interviewer was dismissive and seemed to have made up her mind early on. She commented I seemed 'distracted,' but I think she missed the fact I was using multiple monitors and looking up local spots near the office she was referencing.

I was contacted by a recruiter about a Designer role, which was to work on luxury brands. The interviewer was arrogant and rude, and passive-aggressively said my design work was not good enough for them, which I found annoying and disrespectful. He basically said, “we work on high luxury brands and we need to make sure design work is up to that standard.” I realized how horrible of an interview experience that was. I am so glad I got another job before I could even decide. If anyone is reading this RUN!! If they can be like this to people in an interview god knows how they are like to their employees.
