I sent in my application online and got a call back pretty quickly, under a day. The whole thing took about a week from first contact to the in-person interview, and then a second round via Skype with some international folks. They also sent me some online personality and cognitive tests later on. This role is kinda new for them, so the exact duties aren't totally set yet. The people I spoke with were upfront about the job and what I think the company vibe is. I did notice they didn't involve many other departments, not sure if that's just for Ecommerce or how they do things company-wide. I felt like my experience was on the higher side for their candidates, and they gave me a lot of good feedback on my ability to do the job. All in all, they seemed genuinely interested in who they hire, which I liked and made for a good interview experience.

I applied online and then had a video interview through jobvite that I recorded myself. There were 6 questions, each with a time limit of about 1-2 minutes. It's a good idea to test your computer settings with the 2 practice questions beforehand, like the one about making a sandwich, to make sure everything works for the recorded video. Be ready in case of technical problems with jobvite.

The process kicked off with an online interview where I answered personality questions via camera. I didn't have a recruiter call before speaking with the hiring manager. The in-person part of the interview had several people involved. It seemed like they had a very specific type of person in mind for the job. The interview itself was pretty laid-back and they just asked whatever came to mind, no prep needed. Honestly, I was expecting a more involved process.

It wasn't my favorite way to communicate since there was no back-and-forth. Maybe they're looking for a specific type of person, like someone who's used to uploading their own YouTube videos.
