It was a standard interview, pretty much the usual template with some questions about strengths and weaknesses. It was only 30 minutes, maybe they were busy. They did want to ask about my past jobs, but I tried to avoid those questions.

Got an email to set up a screening call with a recruiter. She asked about pay and basic application stuff. Then I had two interviews. The first one was chill and mostly about my resume. The second one was also chill but went deeper into whether I could do the job. It felt like they'd already decided to hire me after the first interview. Then the recruiter called and gave me an offer, which I took.

Had a phone interview with HR first to talk about my interest in the program and if I was open to relocating. We mostly discussed the internship program. Then maybe a week or two later, I scheduled another phone interview with the VP/director of underwriting, Carie Ferdani, and one of her underwriters. They asked a lot of specific questions about me rather than general behavioral ones.

Behavioral Technical

It was a thorough interview process. We started with a phone call, followed by a multi-hour session with over 7 team members. Everyone was friendly, though some were more informed than others, as expected. They said they'd decide in a week, but I never heard back. After investing so much time and effort, it's only polite to at least let candidates know if they got the job or not. I didn't mind the interview itself, but the lack of follow-up after put me off.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Numerous questions about your skill set and hypothetical work scenarios were asked.
