First, there was an HR call where we talked about salary expectations and background info. Then, a second interview with the hiring manager. After that, a third round with the global head who is based in both the US and Europe.

It started with a recruiter reaching out by phone or email to set up the first chat. Then, I went through five online interviews with various people. After that, they asked me to come in for a sixth interview in person, where I was told I'd meet the Director and then the rest of the team. Six interviews in total, and then... nothing. Radio silence. Maybe I just wasn't the right fit, which is okay. But a simple 'thanks, but no thanks' email would have been the decent and professional thing to do.

So, I went through 5 interview rounds and then just got ghosted. I even emailed management a few times, but no reply. I wasn't sure if I got the job or not. They seemed really keen, saying they'd like to work with me and I got all these certificates in their system, but then... nothing. Just ghosted.

The interviews all went pretty well, and I talked to 4 people in about 6 days, so it was super fast. Near the end, the Talent Acquisition team told me I was the finalist. I asked about my offer later and they said 'oh you *were* the finalist, but then they interviewed someone else and now you're not.' Seriously, why tell someone they're the finalist before interviews are even done? And they never updated me, I had to reach out thinking they were about to make an offer. It was really unprofessional. When I asked the hiring manager for any kind of explanation, they just ignored me and only said 'sorry for the confusion.' There wasn't confusion, they gave me wrong info, got my hopes up, and then just backed out. Super disappointing, and they handled it really unprofessionally.
