Marketing Coordinator
Standard interview process. Nothing out of the ordinary. It felt like any other interview. The only issue was that even though I arrived 20 minutes early, I still had to wait an extra 30 minutes past the scheduled time to start the interview, which felt unprofessional.
- Can you tell me about your most significant marketing projects or experiences from your previous role?
Social Media Assistant
Applied for a role with a listed yearly salary, and HR/hiring managers seemed interested, verbally confirming compensation within that range. We agreed on a start date, but the official offer letter had a lower hourly rate. When I asked for clarification, HR said they reviewed my background post-interview and decided I was better suited for a lower-level role, which they never mentioned before. I questioned why they didn't tell me this before the offer and tried to negotiate. Then, on the offer's expiration date, I found out it had expired earlier. They then claimed they offered it to someone else because I didn't sign in time, which contradicted the letter. They then deleted and reposted the job, making me wonder if they were ever serious. It was frustrating and unprofessional. Be prepared for misleading job postings, last-minute compensation changes, and poor communication from HR if you apply here.
- Are you comfortable with the salary range provided?
Software Project Manager
The interview process involved 3 on-site rounds in total. The first was with the hiring manager, the second with the Taipei office lead, and the third with Human Resources. All interviews were completed within a single afternoon.
- Can you start by telling me about yourself?
- Are you familiar with our company's business?
- Could you describe the most difficult project you've worked on?
Affiliate Marketing Specialist
The interview process involved discussing influencers, specifically asking about my favorite ones and why I'd select them for sponsorships. They also inquired about my methods for closing deals with these influencers. Additionally, they tested my knowledge about PCs and tech.
- Who do you follow and who are your favorite streamers?
- Why would you pick certain influencers to sponsor?
- How would you go about sealing sponsorships and deals with influencers?
